Roar-some Summer of Rescue event coming to Dudley Zoo
Our Summer of Rescue will be taking a walk on the wild side with a visit to Dudley Zoo on Saturday August 27th from 10am to 5.30pm.
Crews from Dudley, Stourbridge, Haden Cross and Brierley Hill will all be on site to help celebrate the UKRO Festival of Rescue and demonstrate their amazing rescue skills.
Please note - you will need to purchase tickets for Dudley Zoo and Castle. More details can be found on their website.
There will be lots to see and do, including:
- Our Road Casualty Reduction Team delivering their unique virtual reality experience for visitors to try out
- Crews undertaking a LIVE vehicle extrication, simulating what they’d do at a real road traffic collision.
- We hope to have our technical rescue unit there doing a live rope rescue demonstration too!
With lots of other fun activities at Dudley Zoo and Castle, it’s a great day out for all the family.
